MTH Cold Room Doors: Everything You Need To Know

MTCSS supply and install MTH’s range of cold room doors across the UK for a variety of industries and companies. We’re proud to be confident in offering cold room doors with price, quality and availability in mind.

As the UK agent for MTH, our relationship has been growing since we were founded in 2007. Each of their products are the result of continuous research and development into cold room doors, and keeping up with consumer demands – which explains why they are one of the world’s leading cold room door manufacturers!

MTH’s Cold Room Door Range

MTH’s cold room doors will efficiently and reliably suit your cold room applications, and are ideal for a wide range of industries.

Their cold room door range includes:

  • Hinged cold room doorsIdeal for chiller and freezer cold rooms for positive and negative temperatures down to -40°C. Hinged cold room doors are ideal for cold rooms which require pedestrian or roll cage access, and ideal for a range of industries from food & drink to pharmaceutical.
  • Sliding cold room doorsPerfect for when a larger door opening is required, and for cold rooms with temperatures ranging from ambient temperatures (+30°C) down to frozen temperatures (-40°C), that experience high-levels of foot traffic, or require cage and trolley access.
  • Service (personnel) doors – Semi insulated doors that are best suited to positive, or ambient, temperature ranges. They’re commonly used for separating non temperature-controlled areas, such as offices and warehouses.
  • Specialised doors Designed to fit your bespoke cold rooms and temperature-controlled areas, there are various types of MTH specialised doors available: Atmospheric, Vertical Sliding and AutomatedRequest A Quote | MTCSS

MTH’s cold room door range comes with plastic door frames as a standard, with the option of aluminium frames (however this is only applicable for chiller cold rooms down to 0°C, not for freezer cold rooms down to –40°C). To find out more about the benefits of plastic cold room door frames, read our blog here!

All of our cold room doors are also available to order with or without vision panels, and also have the option to be manufactured entirely from stainless steel.

Typically, stainless steel options are used within areas that need to maintain high levels of cleanliness, as the regular food safe coatings can discolour and corrode overtime, which could contaminate your productsand this isn’t something you want occurring if your industry adheres to strict requirements! (Enquire with our team for more information).
