Personnel/Service Doors

What is a personnel door?

Often used in commercial, manufacturing, or even healthcare facilities, personnel, service, or semi-insulated hinged doors offer secure and safe door access and egress options for use in internal service spaces.

While they are designed for use in ambient temperatures, these personnel doors also offer an element of soundproofing and temperature control to ensure staff sections are conducive to comfortable working.

Service doors are also designed to be more heavy-duty and can withstand heavy daily use without becoming damaged. This includes parts like hinges, gaskets, and hardware.

Similarly, with the inclusion of locking mechanisms and viewing windows, you can combine personnel doors with your existing security systems, like CCTV, to keep your site secure and allow the movement of only authorised personnel.

Where can a service door be used?

Infinitely versatile and adaptable, personnel doors are an ideal choice for many different types of buildings, including but not limited to:

• Factories and workshops
• Hospitals, hospices, and care homes
• Offices
• Shops and retail units
• Storage spaces
• Staff entrances and exits
