French Warehouse Receives 12 MTH Vertical Sliding Doors

Their cold room door range has sliding cold room door options suitable for chiller cold rooms, freezers cold rooms and ambient areas, suitable for temperatures down to -45°C. MTH’s sliding cold room doors are ideal for (but not limited to) use within the food & drink manufacture, food & drink retail and warehousing & logistics industries.

For a new client, MTH recently supplied 12 vertical sliding chiller doors for low-temperature operated applications. Their client, located in France, required 12 new sliding cold room doors for a new cold storage warehouse they were building to store and refrigerate fruits, vegetables and grains. 

Investing in an MTH sliding cold room door was the best solution for their customer. This is because MTH not only produce high-quality long-lasting doors that will efficiently refrigerate their products, but they also offered specialised advice to address any installation queries that their customer. 

The 12no vertical sliding doors were all 3000mm x 3000mm, with a thickness of 200mm and were installed with a PLCE automation system – a system attached to your sliding cold room door that opens and closes the doors automatically (either via a button or a timer for more precise openings) to reduce the amount of time in which your door is open. 

As well as an automation system, they also customised their sliding cold room doors by modifying the threshold with a heating cable and separating the counterweights (by separating the counterweights, it divides the weight across the door, making it easier to install). Throughout installation their clients had access to technical drawings from MTH to help ease the process. 

Following MTH’s assistance and the installation of the 12 vertical sliding doors for their fruit, vegetable, and grain cold storage warehouse the client was very satisfied and had broadened their door range as a result – showcasing just how many MTH cold room doors and products there are!
